Camp Itinerary: Summer Camp on the River

Girls and Fish

Day One

Check-in (Sunday) between 2-4 P.M. Transportation is available from the Richmond or Newport News Airport and the Staples Mill Railroad station in Richmond.

 

Day Two


After a short casting and equpiment lesson, we will head to a nearby freshwater pond boasting healthy populations of bass, bluegill, and Crappie.


Day Three

Campers will fish the Chesapeake Bay with Captain Randy King aboard the Alma Lee (www.almaleecharters.com). We will fish for whatever is biting from spot, to croaker, to flounder, to spade fish, to Spanish mackerel and bluefish.

Day Four

Campers will wade fish the Rappahannock River for smallmouth bass and sunfish.





Day Five

On day five campers will head back out on the Chesapeake Bay with Capt. Randy King in search of flounder, spadefish, Spanish Mackerel and bluefish .


Day Six

On day six campers will head back out to a private freshwater pond in search of some more big bass!

Day Seven

Campers will spend the morning fishing freshwater ponds.
Check-out (Saturday): Pick-up between 12-1 P.M.
